"..a dark and depraved nightmare consisting of violent visions, murder, and undead monstrosities...  It also has a good story that is well paced, building to a memorable climax."

--BeneaththeUnderground.com

"..impressed the hell out of me. A movie that transcends its budget, is intelligent and still brings on the red stuff in buckets."

--twisted-minds.net

"..extremely effective no-budget gorefest.. ..emphasis on unsettling atmosphere as well as graphic carnage makes the film stand out amongst the usual DIY, no-budget drek of the '90s"  --Shock Cinema Magazine #31

Writer/editor Ronnie Sortor presents this film about three criminals whose bid to pull off the perfect heist goes horribly wrong. First, one of them is shot during the robbery, leaving the young couple, Simon and Lisa, to fend for themselves. The two decide to separate and rendezvous in a deserted house. Simon arrives first, and proceeds to spend the night there, waiting for Lisa. During the night, Simon comes face to face with the dark presences of an axe murderer and his victims, who attempt to claim him as one of their own. An ultra low budget gore film, SINISTRE is an entertaining and inventive combination of the crime/slasher/zombie film.
